Walking & weighted vests
We were first motivated to try a weighted vest through an instagram post by @mairlynsmith. Having been reading about rucking and the use of weighted vests, we quickly purchased one and have been using it for over a month now. We love it! Our suggestion is to start lighter than you may think. Work up to the weight that gives you a good workout - the last thing you want to do is go too hard, too quickly. We started with 2 pounds of weight and that wasn’t enough, so went up to 4, then 5 and now we’re at 7 pounds.
